“Do everything without grumbling or arguing, so that you may become blameless and pure, children of God without fault in a warped and crooked generation. Then you will shine among them like stars in the sky as you hold firmly to the word of life." Philippians 2:14-16
I think most of us would agree that the world in which we live is often a very challenging and negative place to be. As Christians, we are uniquely equipped to conquer these challenges by drawing on the power of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. It is my hope and prayer for this community that we can stand out as godly examples by exhibiting positive attitudes, showing peace and kindness towards others and staying faithful to Jesus’s teachings through scripture as a guide for everything we do.
Come join the Richmond Emmaus community for gathering this Saturday, September 12th!
Our gathering will begin with food and fellowship at 6:00 pm in the fellowship hall. Music will begin at 6:30 pm in the sanctuary, followed by worship and communion. We will also be introducing the R-147 Men’s Team so please come and support the team as they continue preparing for the upcoming walk.
Our gathering is located at:
Hopewell Church
6200 Courthouse Rd

The Spring Women’s Walk team (R-148) is currently forming. Please prayerfully consider participating on either the inside or outside team. The link to the team application can be found below. The women’s walk will be held April 22-25, 2027.
The Fall Men's Walk (R-147) will be held October 15-18, 2026, at Chanco on the James. We urgently need pilgrims for the Men’s walk so please send in those applications as soon as they can be completed.
