Several weeks ago, we were blessed with the opportunity to host another women’s walk, Richmond R146, at Chanco. While I am certain unceasing prayer helped usher in breakthroughs to the team and pilgrims participating on the walk, I am equally certain that spiritual attacks will continue as we all navigate life’s challenges in our 4th day. Please continue praying that those that just participated on the walk and our entire community will remain focused, not on worldly distractions, but on Christ every day and in everything we do.

Sandy Livingston will be facilitating 4th day training beginning at 4:00 pm. Note that 4th day training is a requirement to be able to sponsor or team on future walks so please plan to attend if you are able. After 4th day training, our gathering will begin with food and fellowship at 6:00 pm in the fellowship hall. Music will begin at 6:30 pm in the sanctuary, followed by worship and communion. We will also be introducing our newest community members from R-146 so please come out to welcome them to the community.
The Fall men's walk team (R-147) is currently forming. Please prayerfully consider participating on either the inside or outside team. The link to the team application can be found below. The men’s walk will be held October 15-18, 2026.
We also need pilgrims for the Men’s walk so please send in those applications as soon as they can be completed. Our Walk to Emmaus weekends can host up to 20 pilgrims so please prayerfully consider sponsoring someone for this life-changing weekend.
