The church I attend holds a twice annual activity called (21) days of prayer which begins this week. It is an amazing opportunity to prioritize our relationship with God and more importantly, an opportunity to be bold in our requests to God through prayer. During the sermon yesterday, our pastor asked the question “When you pray, do you truly believe it will happen?” Unfortunately, for me and I am sure others, there is always some doubt in our hearts. As a community, let us boldly and expectantly present our prayers to God with confidence that he will move in our relationships, work, family and every area of our life.

Our gathering will begin with food and fellowship at 6:00 pm in the fellowship hall. Music will begin at 6:30 pm in the sanctuary, followed by worship and communion.

The Fall Men's Walk (R-147) will be held October 15-18, 2026, at Chanco on the James. We urgently need pilgrims for the Men’s walk so please send in those applications as soon as they can be completed. Our Walk to Emmaus weekends can host up to 20 pilgrims so please prayerfully consider sponsoring someone for this life-changing weekend.
